方法一:1.发酵法以碳水化合物（葡萄糖、淀粉等）加适量氮源和无机盐，经土曲霉的生物化学作用制得。2.化学合成法按原料来源不同，又可分为以下两种：（1）以农产品为原料　此类原料有柠檬酸、异柠檬酸、乌头酸或其酸酐等。以柠檬酸为原料，以负载的磷酸盐为催化剂，在290-340℃反应得到柠康酸，再加热至220℃异构化，得衣康酸。（2）以石油化工产品为原料　以丁二酸酐或丁二酸二酯为原料，以钍盐为催化剂，与甲醛反应，生成柠康酸，再加热异构化而得衣康酸。3.新的化学合成法以顺丁烯二酸酐为主要原料，经酯化、加成、亚甲基化和水解四步反应合成衣康酸。
