方法一:乙基硫化物由无水乙醇与五硫化二磷反应而得。原有工艺所得产品含量85％～87％，收率为85％左右。新工艺使用催化剂，使收率和产品质量大为提高。该工艺过程为：按一定比例在搅拌下将五硫化二磷加到上批硫化物的母液中，加适量催化剂，减压下加入无水酒精，温度控制在50～65℃(最高不超过80℃)，15～25min内加完，继续在50～65℃保温反应10～20min后冷却到45℃以下，静置，出料得产品。反应中生成的硫化氢气体用碱液吸收。收率90％～92％，产品含量91％～93％。
