上游原料:马来酸 --> 硫代乙酸
方法一:顺酐进行水合，生成顺丁烯二酸，再与硫化氢反应制得该品。实验室制备可将23.2g苹果酸、20g硫代乙酸溶于80ml乙酸乙酯中，回流1h。经冷却，加入400ml苯提取，加活性炭脱色，过滤除去炭，回收苯得粗品。经精制得32g乙酰基硫代苹果酸，熔点126℃。再进一步水解即得巯基丁二酸。
