  • 化学性质:甲硫醇容易氧化,在氢氧钠溶液中,常温下就可被空气中的氧所氧化,生成二硫化物:2CH3SH+1/2O2→CH3-S-S-CH3+H2O。 甲硫醇可以与卤素反应,分析化学中就是用碘来测巯基的存在,也能与氯反应,生成硫氯化物;能与烯烃加成,生成硫醚;与炔烃加成,生成一加成物或二加成物;与羰基化合物加成,生成硫缩醛; 与甲醛、氯化氢反应,生成卤代烷硫醚: CH3SH+HCHO+HCl→CH3SCH2Cl+H2O。 也可与苯醌加成;能与许多阳离子金属反应,生成不溶性盐;与环氧化合物反应,生成羟基硫醚。 在叔胺催化剂作用下,与异氰酸酯反应,生成硫化氨基甲酸酯。 本品在胺存在下与硫反应,生成三硫化物:2CH3SH+2S→CH3SSSCH3+H2S。 与三氯化磷反应,生成三硫代磷酸甲酯:3CH3SH+PCl3→(CH3S)3P+3HCl。 在氢氧化钠溶液中易水解,生成硫醇钠:CH3SH+NaOH=CH3SNa+H2O。 在氢氧化钠溶液中,甲硫醇与二硫化碳反应,生成三硫化碳酸酯的钠盐: 甲硫醇是脂肪烃中最低级的硫醇,臭味极强,阈值 0.01×10-6。有催眠性,高浓度时可使中枢神经麻痺。与硫化氢一样,可使结膜及角膜受害。与生物组织中的重金属有极强的化合能力,因而可将人体所需的微量元素化合而生成惰性化合物,排出体外,反复吸入是极危险的。与皮肤接触也有刺激性,引起充血。大鼠LD5010000 mg/kg。工作场所最高允许浓度10×10-6。 以上信息由Chemicalbook的晓楠编辑整理。
