概述:化学式Cu(NO3)2，白色粉状物。易潮解，易溶于水，0℃时溶解度为45g，加入浓硝酸，可重新沉出。红热时分解成氮的氧化物和氧化铜，被盐酸所分解。常见水合物有六水合物 Cu(NO3)2·6H2O 和三水合物 Cu(NO3)2·3H2O。前者为蓝色晶体，相对密度为2.074，在温度为26.4℃时失去三分子结晶水而成三水合物，65℃时分解生成碱式盐。后者为暗蓝色三棱形晶体，分子量241.60，熔点114.5℃，蓝色柱状晶体，密度2.32g/cm3。易溶于水和乙醇，浓溶液绿色，稀溶液淡蓝色，易潮解。114.5℃时溶于其结晶水中，加热至170℃时失去硝酸生成碱式硝酸铜，加热至200℃分解为氧化铜。有氧化性，与碳、硫等物混和撞击容易爆炸或燃烧。用于镀铜、制农药和搪瓷及染料等。溶于中等浓度的硝酸，可用氧化铜或铜块与稀硝酸作用来制取硝酸铜。
