取代脲类除草剂:敌草隆与灭草隆、利谷隆是三种常用的取代脲类除草剂，敌草隆属内吸传导型除草剂，具有一定的触杀活力，可被植物的根和叶吸收，以根系吸收为主，杂草根系吸收药剂后，传到地上叶片中，并沿着叶脉向周围传播，抑制光合作用的希尔反应，致使叶片失绿，叶尖和叶缘褪色，进而发黄枯死。敌草隆在低剂量情况下，可作为选择性除草剂使用，高剂量下则可作为灭生性除草剂。敌草隆适于水稻、棉花、玉米、甘蔗及果、胶、桑、茶园使用，防除稗草、马唐、狗尾草、蓼、藜及眼子菜等。对人、畜低毒，大鼠急性口服LD50为3400mg/kg，高浓度时对眼和黏膜有刺激作用。敌草隆对种子萌发及根系无显著影响，药效期可维持60天以上。 1，敌草隆对麦苗有杀伤作用，麦田禁用。在茶、桑、果园宜采用毒土法，以免发生药害。 2，敌草隆对棉叶有很强的触杀作用，施药必须施于土表，棉苗出土后不宜使用敌草隆。 3，砂性土壤，用药量应比粘质土壤适当减少。砂性漏水稻田不宜用。 4，敌草隆对果树及多种作物的叶片有较强的杀伤力，应避免药液飘移到作物叶片上。桃树对敌草隆敏感，使用时应注意。 5，喷过敌草隆的器械必须用清水反复清洗。 6，单独使用时，敌草隆不易被大多数植物叶面吸收，需加入一定的表面活性剂，提高植物叶面的吸收能力。
用途:取代脲类除草剂，具有内吸传导作用和一定触杀作用。药剂被植物根系或叶片吸收后抑制光合作用，致使叶片失绿，叶尖和边缘褪色，导致植株因缺乏营养而死亡。敌草隆在低剂量下可通过位差及时差选择进行除草。高剂量时成为灭生性除草剂。主要用于棉花、大豆、番茄、烟草、草莓、葡萄、果园、橡胶园等作物防除一年生禾本科杂草和某些阔叶杂草，如旱稗、马唐、狗尾草、野苋草、莎草、藜等。如在棉田播后出苗前，用25%敌草隆可湿性粉剂30～45g/100m 2 ，对水7.5kg，均匀喷雾土表，防效90%以上；用于水稻田防除眼子菜用7.5～15g/100m 2 ，防效90%以上；果树、茶园在杂草萌芽高峰期，用25%可湿性粉剂30～37.5g/100m 2 ，对水5.3kg喷雾土表，亦可在中耕除草后进行土壤喷雾处理。
